Welcome to my website
Victoria Eman Bio and history
My name is Victoria Eman and I live in the county 'Gelderland´ in The Netherlands, but I am of European-Indonesian origin.
Since 1991 I started singing at Talent shows in The Netherlands together with my sister Vanessa Eman as a duo. We won several talent shows at that time and/or ended up high in the finals. I have a musical family; my father, brother and two sisters, my son Denzell and my little daughter Indy also can sing. In 2017 I recorded duet songs with my little daughter Indy of at that time 9 years old; the ‘Hawaii Aloha song’, which was nominated for the Nashville Universe Awards and reached #1 spots on several Radio Stations worldwide. In 2018 I also recorded the duet song ‘Jealous Of The Angels’ (cover) with my daughter, which also had/has a lot of success worldwide. Further I recorded duet songs with my youngest sister Charmaine Eman and with my brother Ginger Eman. The family of my mother's side is also musical.
After a few years of doing paid gigs I quit singing with my sister Vanessa Eman and came in contact with musicians who asked me to become the singer of their Band(s).
Since 1996 I am a Singer in several Bands. At this moment I am the Singer of my Band ‘What So Ever’. Apart from being a Singer in my Band I recorded many (cover) songs in various music styles but since September 2014 I started recording ORIGINAL (Contemporary) Country songs, written by several GREAT Singer/Songwriters from the USA and the UK (you can find all my songs on my website: www.victoria-eman.eu, on my YouTube channel, on ReverbNation, on the Nashville Universe site and on my Facebook page: 'Singer Victoria Eman').
In July 2015 I released my first Album 'Change of Direction' with ORIGINAL Country songs, written by GREAT Songwriters from the UK and USA, on about 60 digital download and streaming sites. On the 1st of April 2016 I released my 2nd Album 'Meet You On The Moon' on CDBaby and is also available on ALL digital download and streaming sites (about 60 e.g.: CDBaby, iTunes, Amazon, Spotify, Google Play etc.). All the songs on this Album 'Meet You On The Moon' are written by my buddy/a GREAT Songwriterr: Vic Holdroyd from the UK (inc. a co-write with Nashville producer Lonnie Ratliff on the song 'Troubadour'). At 22 January 2019 I released my 3rd Album 'All My Life'. On that Album you will find a mix of (Contemporary) Country, Country Rock, Caribbean Country and a few Traditional Country songs. On this 3rd Album you will find songs written by 13 very talented Songwriters I work with from the USA, UK and 1 Songwriter from the Netherlands (my uncle). In the meantime I started recording songs for my 4th Album with (Contemporary) Country songs and also Easy Listening & Blues songs for a 5th Album. I feel very blessed to be able to work with the very best/talented Songwriters (about 17 Songwriters) - from the UK & USA.
In 2018 I was nominated for The Nashville Universe Awards in two categories:
* Female Artist of the Year
* Hawaii Aloha (which I sung together with my little daughter of 9 years old) - Song of the
Further I was also nominated for The Josie Music Awards (USA) in the category:
* Female Artist of the Year - Modern | Contemporary Country
At this moment many Radio Stations are giving airplay to my songs worldwide. Thanks to my Personal Manager Geert Hakze from The Netherlands, who is also my Plugger & Promoter, my songs will be promoted to thousands of Radio Stations worldwide. This year (2019) I will start with doing Solo gigs as well and singing the original songs I recorded.
My goal is to become a more well known Artist/Singer in the Country music genre because Country music was always my favorite genre and a 2nd goal is trying to get ariplay on the big commercial Radio Stations as well (me and my Manager are working on that). Stay tuned
